Erum Nayani is the SVP, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at BSI Financial Services (BSI), a mortgage-centric financial services company. Nayani oversees BSI’s teams managing litigation, regulatory change management, complaint resolution, quality control, licensing, issues management and audit, and is an integral part of the company’s risk management program. She has over 13 years of experience in mortgage servicing, entering the industry shortly after obtaining her law degree. In 2021, she received the American Legal & Financial Network’s Junior Professionals & Executives Group (JPEG) Award. Nayani holds a degree in corporate communication from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
