In 2012, after more than 20 years of selling real estate and originating mortgages, Mark Harris was called up to public service as a Housing Specialist for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Since then, Harris has been promoted numerous times, reaching his current position as Director of the REO Division. His ultimate goal is to ensure all of HUD’s assets that pass through the REO division are maintained in a manner that preserves communities—with a high standard of care—and are safe from hazardous conditions, preserving the value of the asset and esuring customer satisfaction with the disposition process.
