Ivan P. Choi is a past national chairman (2014) of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), a national non-profit industry trade association. With more than 43 chapters and 17,000+ members across North America and abroad, Choi is dedicated to AREAA’s mission in promoting sustainable homeownership for the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Choi became an AREAA member in 2004, a year after its founding in 2003. A 24-year career mortgage banker, he currently serves in national mortgage originations at Axos Bank. Earlier in his career, Choi served as an executive with Countrywide and Bank of America where he established a foreclosure financing platform that funded $8 billion in loans across the U.S. from 2006-2010.
