Joe Peterson has been in the real estate industry for over 20 years as an REO broker, asset manager, and now on the tech side. As a broker, Peterson and his team focused on REO and default disposition and hedge fund acquisitions. He grew his brokerage from a single office in North Texas to multiple offices in seven states, servicing clients such as HUD, Fannie Mae, Bayview, Chase, Chronos, USB, Freddie Mac, and others. Through this growth, Peterson learned the importance of leveraging technology. In 2019, he founded a company called iList, which is a technology solution for real estate agents, allowing them to leverage selling options such as cash offers, bidding, and automation to engage more sellers and list more homes.
