Joseph Laigaie is Chief Operating Officer at Statebridge Company. He joined the firm in late 2024 to transform all servicing processes, technology, borrower and client experience. Mr. Laigaie brings 32 years of large, small, residential, and business purpose loan servicing experience to the firm. Mr. Laigaie started his career at Ocwen Financial Corporation and has subsequently worked at Litton Loan Servicing, Selene Finance, Carrington Mortgage Services and Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing. He has held the titles of Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Senior Manager and has been responsible for or managed all Non-Borrower Facing Operations, Loan Administration, Investor Reporting and Accounting, Quality Assurance, Cash and Claims Management, and Large and Small Commercial Servicing. Mr. Laigaie has performed due diligence for all the firms employed by for the acquisition of Mortgage Servicing Rights or purchase of distressed companies and involved in the review and negotiation of Purchase and Sale, Servicing, Sub-Servicing, Asset Purchase and Vendor agreements. Mr. Laigaie brings expert knowledge of the servicing environment and drives performance and process improvement. Mr. Laigaie holds a BA in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.
