Jennifer Stockett is the Senior Advisor in the External Affairs Front Office for the CFPB. While working with financial institutions, she provides insight on policies, industry perspectives and priorities to ensure executive leadership were apprised of mortgage developments. Stockett was integral in working with CFPB rulemaking mortgage teams that helped community banks and credit unions continue to serve their communities. Stockett joined the CFPB in June 2014 from the FDIC, where she was responsible for policy and managing loss mitigation and increasing mortgage modifications on failed bank mortgage assets and then large bank resolution plan reviews. Prior to the FDIC, Stockett had the privilege to work with Laurie Maggiano at the U.S. Treasury on HAMP and help thousands of homeowners from foreclosure. Before re-joining the federal government, Stockett worked for financial institutions including Wachovia/Wells Fargo, Fannie Mae, the Resolution Trust Corporation and Bear Stearns.
