Tanya Bates is a highly accomplished mortgage industry executive with over 25 years of experience in sales leadership, team development, and strategic growth. As Senior Vice President and Home Loans Regional Director at Bank of Oklahoma Mortgage, she leads a multi-state region encompassing Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri, overseeing a team of up to 60 professionals. Tanya is widely recognized for her ability to drive performance, implement innovative processes, and navigate complex regulatory environments.

Her leadership has earned her numerous accolades, including being named a top 5 finalist for the 2024 Women in Housing Keys in Hand Award and multiple “One Club” honors. She has also been featured as a contributing mortgage expert in National Mortgage News and CBS MoneyWatch. Tanya is deeply committed to advancing homeownership through education, mentorship, and community engagement.
Outside of her professional role, Tanya is an active supporter of the arts and has served as treasurer for OKC Improv, a nonprofit community arts organization. In her free time, she enjoys performing improv in downtown Oklahoma City and traveling to destinations around the world.
